Our Story
Welcome to Little Miss Tennis & Joe Puppy, where we believe that every young athlete deserves to look as fabulous as they feel while smashing those serves and sinking those putts! We’ve been serving up stylish and functional tennis apparel for the past 50 years, since 1973.
Our mission? To sprinkle a little magic on the courts and greens with our delightful range of tennis and activewear that’s as playful as a puppy chasing its tail. From the best pleated skirts and dresses made to classic white shorts that say “I’m ready to ace this game!”—we’ve got it all. Our gear not only enhances performance but also lets kids express their unique personalities.
So, whether your little one is a budding tennis star or a golf guru in the making, we’re here to make sure they have cute and functional options. Join us on this whimsical journey where every swing, serve, and putt is a chance to shine. Let’s make sportswear fun again—one adorable outfit at a time!
LiMi by Little Miss Tennis was established in 1973, by a savvy tennis mom, Marilyn Kosten, who had two daughters competing in major junior tournaments. There was a need for fashionable and functional youth tennis apparel (the ball pocket was a must) and Little Miss Tennis was born with an order from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
Fun fact! We have a tennis dress "the pinafore" displayed in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI, worn by Tracy Austin who won the 1979 US Open against No. 1 Seed Chris Evert. At 16 years old, Austin became the youngest (male or female) champion in US Open history, a distinction that still remains today. Austin went on to make her Wimbledon debut in 1979. How fashion changes! (Tracy's dress lower left). LMT was also the Wimbledon junior sponsor for many years.
